日前，南方医科大学南方医院血液科专家连续在权威杂志《Stem Cells》上发表重要论著，研究成果揭示了影响人类情绪和抑郁症有关的血清素对于骨髓干细胞的生长分化及移植有密切关系，为抑郁症的造血功能下降和免疫功能受损提供科学依据，也为抑郁症、焦虑症导致免疫力下降的治疗提供新的治疗靶点。

　　该研究揭示了影响人类情绪与抑郁症有关的血清素对于骨髓干细胞的生长分化及移植有密切关系。情绪的低落可导致血清素下降，引起干细胞功能受损，影响损伤的修复和血细胞再生，从而影响身体的免疫功能。这是医学界首次从科学角度证实人类情绪与干细胞的关联。

　　该成果为抑郁症的造血功能下降和免疫功能受损提供科学依据，也为抑郁症、焦虑症导致免疫力下降的治疗提供新的治疗靶点。同时，作为小分子胺类物质的神经递质的血清素也为神经系统可能参与造血干细胞调控和一些中药的“补血”作用的机理提供了科学基础及研究方向。
